Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Future Systems Architect to lead our 2026 roadmap. In a world where technology accelerates faster than ever, you will define the infrastructure that powers the next generation of human-machine interaction. You won't just be building software; you will be architecting the future.
At Nexus Horizon, we are building the foundational layers for the year 2026 and beyond. We need someone who can look past current limitations and design systems that are resilient, scalable, and revolutionary. If you thrive in ambiguity and love solving unsolvable problems, this is your chance to leave a legacy.
Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams in R&D for emerging technologies, including Quantum Computing and AGI integration.
- Design secure, high-performance data pipelines capable of processing petabytes of real-time neural data.
- Conduct rigorous technical due diligence on new technologies to ensure they align with our aggressive 2026 timeline.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and forward-thinking engineering.
- Collaborate with product leaders to translate futuristic concepts into actionable engineering roadmaps.
- Establish best practices for interoperability between legacy systems and next-gen interfaces.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on AI and distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Rust, or other high-performance languages.
- Experience with Quantum algorithms or a deep understanding of post-quantum cryptography.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading high-stakes projects from conception to successful deployment.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
