Responsibilities
- Efficient Stocking: Receive, unload, and stock incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently to ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy across all departments.
- Visual Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment that meets company visual merchandising standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and correctly operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure workplace for yourself and your team.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure timely shift turnover and operational efficiency.
- Product Care: Ensure all products are rotated, dated, and stored according to company guidelines to prevent waste.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and consistent attendance in previous employment.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to take direction effectively.
- Math Skills: Basic arithmetic proficiency for price checks and inventory management.
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM).
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
