Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs (1-5 per group) in Riverside neighborhoods and parks
- Administer basic care including feeding, hydration, and medication as directed
- Maintain detailed client records and activity logs via our mobile app
- Transport pets in company vehicles for veterinary appointments or group outings
- Respond to pet emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
- Build strong client relationships through consistent communication
- Clean and maintain equipment (leashes, water bowls, carriers)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk 5+ hours daily
- Excellent time management and punctuality skills
- Passion for animal welfare and client satisfaction
- Reliable transportation and smartphone proficiency
- Background check clearance required
