Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while maintaining strict cash drawer balances.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with bags and supplies.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
- Assist with inventory stocking and back-of-house operations as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding loss prevention and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
