Responsibilities
- Greet all customers warmly and professionally upon entering the store.
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Bag items efficiently and ensure the sales floor remains organized.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining a clean, safe shopping environment.
- Handle cash deposits and reconcile daily sales reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
