Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, accurately processing cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Handle cash registers with strict accuracy, balancing drawers at the end of every shift.
- Assist customers with product locations, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet daily targets and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in customer service is a plus but not required for motivated candidates.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
