Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee/espresso drinks adhering to quality standards
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas
- Operate POS systems efficiently and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory management and restock supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless service
- Participate in monthly product knowledge and skill-building sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso preparation
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- San Antonio residency required
