Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using espresso machines, pour-over methods, and batch brews
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and customer areas
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and uphold strict quality control standards
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless operations
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash transactions
- Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain HACCP compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience with specialty coffee knowledge
- Proficiency in espresso extraction, latte art, and alternative brewing methods
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for coffee trends and commitment to continuous learning
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
