Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and genuine enthusiasm
- Maintain pristine café cleanliness and organized workspace throughout shifts
- Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash transactions efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during peak hours
- Source and present fresh pastries, ensuring visual appeal and quality standards
- Participate in product knowledge training to stay current on coffee trends
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience or equivalent coffee craft expertise
- Proficiency in espresso machines, grinders, and brewing methods
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Basic cash handling and POS system experience required
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends (including holidays)
- Food safety certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Passion for coffee culture and commitment to continuous learning
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
