Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee drinks following precise recipes and quality standards
- Engage warmly with customers, providing personalized recommendations and exceptional service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, espresso machines, and service areas
- Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash/transactions with integrity
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless daily operations and peak service efficiency
- Participate in inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies and retail products
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience required
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso preparation, and bean origins
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality consistency
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Food Handler's Certification preferred
