Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee beverages using espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized recommendations and engaging interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of equipment, workstations, and customer areas
- Manage inventory and assist with daily café operations including opening/closing procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality and efficient workflow
- Participate in ongoing coffee education and seasonal menu development
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience with espresso expertise
- Deep knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication skills with a warm, approachable demeanor
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
