Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations
- Maintain pristine hygiene and operational standards across all stations
- Train and mentor new team members on coffee mastery and service excellence
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Develop seasonal menus and participate in community events
- Manage inventory ordering and quality control of coffee supplies
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional barista experience with specialty coffee knowledge
- Proficiency in espresso machine operation and latte art techniques
- Outstanding communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments during peak hours
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
