Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and signature beverages using premium beans
- Deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and warm hospitality
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness of equipment, workstations, and seating areas
- Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash/transactions securely
- Train new staff on brewing techniques and café standards
- Contribute to inventory management and restocking operations
- Develop seasonal specials aligned with local ingredients and trends
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional barista experience required
- Expertise in espresso machine operation and milk steaming techniques
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities in high-volume settings
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Passion for sustainability and ethical sourcing practices
