Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages while maintaining quality standards
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations
- Operate POS systems efficiently and process cash/credit transactions accurately
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of workspace, equipment, and customer areas
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and tracking product freshness
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Participate in ongoing training to master new brewing techniques and seasonal offerings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience or equivalent customer service role
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for creating genuine customer connections
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak hours
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory tracking
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for catering events)
