Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs of all breeds and sizes in designated Columbus neighborhoods
- Provide real-time photo and video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, medication) as specified in client instructions
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, health observations, and service delivery
- Uphold strict safety protocols during walks and in client homes
- Respond promptly to client communications and schedule changes
- Participate in ongoing pet safety and first aid training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling or pet care experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently while maintaining detailed records
- Strong physical stamina for extended outdoor activity in all weather
- Excellent communication skills and client service orientation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability during mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Background check clearance required
