Responsibilities
- Provide safe, attentive dog walking services for 3-6 dogs at a time
- Monitor pets' behavior and health during walks and report concerns
- Maintain clean, organized equipment and follow safety protocols
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup, treats as instructed)
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app updates
- Adapt walks to individual dogs' needs (temperament, energy levels)
- Uphold strict punctuality and reliability standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking/pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds and walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets preferred
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Must pass background check and drug screening
