Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm, professional smile and offer assistance.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems with speed and accuracy to ensure seamless transactions.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments correctly, ensuring all transactions are balanced.
- Manage returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries with patience and problem-solving skills.
- Keep the checkout counter, bags, and surrounding areas clean and organized at all times.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier positions is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
