Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee beverages and pastries with precision and speed
- Operate POS systems and process cash/credit transactions accurately
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness of all equipment, counters, and seating areas
- Engage warmly with customers, recommend products, and resolve inquiries
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours and inventory management
- Adhere to food safety protocols and allergy awareness procedures
- Support café marketing initiatives and seasonal promotions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of barista or customer service experience
- Proficiency with espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Strong multitasking abilities in high-volume settings
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
