Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages including espresso, pour-overs, and seasonal creations
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and customer areas
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and uphold food safety standards
- Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash transactions efficiently
- Collaborate with team during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment with open communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months barista or food service experience required
- Proficiency in espresso preparation and milk steaming techniques
- Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail under pressure
- Flexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Food Handler Certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
