Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, fresh water, and medication administration
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and client communication
- Adhere to safety protocols during all interactions
- Transport pets to vet appointments (as needed)
- Report any behavioral or health concerns promptly
- Clean and maintain pet equipment/walking supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to handle large or energetic dogs safely
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Trustworthy background check required
- Local Plano residency preferred
