Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential areas and designated parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as requested
- Track client preferences, behavior notes, and service logs accurately
- Maintain cleanliness during walks (waste disposal, leash control)
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via app and text updates
- Transport dogs in company vehicles when necessary
- Attend monthly safety and skill workshops
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation with pet carrier capacity
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Availability during early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Basic pet first/CPR certification preferred
- Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and communication apps
- Passion for animal welfare and exceptional customer service
