Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor at various venues including hotels, convention centers, and outdoor festivals.
- Assist with event setup and teardown, including furniture arrangement, signage placement, and technical equipment checks.
- Monitor event areas to ensure safety and security protocols are followed by all attendees.
- Manage ticket lines, registration desks, and crowd control to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
- Distribute promotional materials and answer basic questions regarding event details and venue amenities.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and other staff members to ensure operational excellence.
- Perform light cleaning duties and reset areas after each event session.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive, outgoing attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from various event locations in the Charlotte metro area.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards are required.
- Previous experience in customer service or event staffing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available for immediate start.
