Responsibilities
- Manage guest registration and VIP check-in with precision and professionalism
- Execute seamless venue setup including seating arrangements, décor placement, and audio-visual coordination
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues proactively
- Collaborate with vendors and team leads to ensure synchronized event flow
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Conduct thorough post-event breakdown and venue restoration
- Document event details and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional event staffing or hospitality experience
- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills and polished professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with short notice
- Physical ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 pounds
- Valid New York State driver's license preferred (for venue transport)
- Basic knowledge of AV equipment setup and troubleshooting
