Responsibilities
- Execute seamless event setup/breakdown including decor, AV equipment, and seating arrangements
- Provide VIP guest services including registration, coat checks, and personalized assistance
- Manage crowd flow and maintain venue safety protocols during high-traffic events
- Coordinate with vendors, security, and venue staff for integrated event execution
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and problem-solving agility
- Enforce event-specific dress codes and brand guidelines consistently
- Conduct post-event venue inspections to ensure compliance with rental agreements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality, event coordination, or customer-facing roles
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to multitask under pressure
- Physical stamina for extended standing/walking during 8+ hour shifts
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with minimal notice
- Valid NYC Food Handler's certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Professional appearance with reliable business attire
- Basic knowledge of event software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) preferred
