Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse operations during evening and weekend shifts to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock discrepancies to prevent losses.
- Process Adherence: Ensure all shipping, receiving, and picking processes are followed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate and inspect forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and weekends.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- License: Valid Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
