Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Assist in the processing and packing of customer orders with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Inventory Management: Update inventory logs and assist in stock organization within the warehouse facility.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment.
- Customer Liaison: Handle inquiries from day-shift staff regarding order status and logistics.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Data Entry: Input shipment data into the company management system accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer proficiency (Excel/Word).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to collaborate with the team effectively.
