Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and record inventory levels accurately to ensure stock accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with morning and afternoon shift teams to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and weekends.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order processing.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and maintain a consistent attendance record.
- Communication: Basic computer skills and ability to read and understand safety instructions.
