Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service during evening shifts (4 PM - 11 PM)
- Accurately process orders and payments via POS system
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for seamless food delivery
- Manage section cleanliness and table resets between guests
- Upsell seasonal specials and premium beverages
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Contribute to positive team dynamics during peak hours
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math and POS proficiency
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- San Diego residency (required for evening shifts)
