Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake and scheduling for evening clinic hours
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Assist patients with insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Handle confidential patient communications via phone and secure messaging
- Prepare examination rooms and medical supplies for evening appointments
- Support telemedicine triage and virtual care coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- 1+ years experience in medical office or patient services
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or experience)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Flexibility to work evenings (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and weekends
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
