Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including mobility, bathing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures under RN supervision
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Transport patients safely within facility using proper equipment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to optimize patient care plans
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or direct patient care experience
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Flexibility to work evenings (4 PM - 12 AM) and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
