Responsibilities
- Deliver polished table service to 4-6 tables simultaneously during peak evening hours
- Expertly manage beverage orders, wine pairings, and complex dietary requirements
- Process payments accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless course timing and presentation
- Uphold cleanliness standards throughout dining areas and service stations
- Resolve guest inquiries with professionalism and discretion
- Contribute to pre-shift briefings and post-shift closing procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or high-volume restaurant experience
- NYC Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional knowledge of wine/beer/spirits and cocktail preparation
- Fluent English proficiency; Spanish or French a strong plus
- Ability to stand 8+ hours and lift 25 lbs regularly
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays without exception
- Valid NYC Hospitality Training Certificate preferred
- Proven ability to maintain composure during peak rushes
