Responsibilities
- Delight patients with empathetic care during evening hours (5 PM - 1 AM)
- Assist with daily living activities including mobility support and medication management
- Maintain accurate patient records and vital sign documentation
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Implement infection control protocols in all patient interactions
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or direct patient care experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during shifts
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Valid California driver's license (if transporting patients)
- Background clearance through DOJ/FBI fingerprinting
