Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for treatments and perform basic vitals checks
- Administer injections and collect specimens for lab testing
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk operations
- Ensure exam rooms are sanitized and fully stocked
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Medical Assistant certification or MA diploma
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work 4-6 hour evening shifts (5 PM-11 PM)
- Reliable transportation to Euclid Avenue location
