Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Manage reservation systems and waitlist efficiently
- Coordinate with servers to ensure seamless table turnover
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
- Maintain clean, organized host stand and entryway
- Upsell specials and promote restaurant offerings
- Collaborate with FOH team during peak service hours
Qualifications
- Previous hosting or customer service experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Poised demeanor under pressure during busy periods
- Basic knowledge of reservation software (OpenTable a plus)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
