Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service with genuine warmth and product knowledge
- Manage POS transactions efficiently while maintaining cash accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth evening operations during peak hours
- Adhere to all food safety protocols and sanitation standards

Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of coffee shop or food service experience preferred
- Availability for evening shifts (minimum 3 shifts weekly, including weekends)
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid Illinois Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for coffee and enthusiasm for learning specialty brewing techniques
- Reliable transportation to our downtown Chicago location
