Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks including espresso, lattes, and cold brew using premium beans
- Provide exceptional customer service with warm, personalized interactions
- Handle cash transactions and POS operations with precision
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of café equipment and seating areas
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Collaborate with team members during peak evening rush periods
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of barista or customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume hours
- Flexible availability including weekends (4-6 hour shifts)
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Valid NYC Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
