Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and pastries according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Operate commercial espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Upsell products and participate in promotional events to drive sales.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso extraction, and latte art techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods.
- Passion for the coffee industry and a willingness to learn.
