Responsibilities
- Provide personalized walking and care services for 3-5 dogs per session
- Implement structured training routines for behavioral reinforcement
- Administer medication and special care protocols as needed
- Document detailed activity logs and client communications
- Coordinate with pet parents via our premium mobile app
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments (company vehicle provided)
- Maintain immaculate grooming and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional dog handling experience
- Certification in pet first aid/CPR
- Proven success with high-energy and large-breed dogs
- Impeccable references from DC pet parents
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Expert knowledge of DC pet regulations and leash laws
