Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Omaha neighborhoods following client-specific protocols
- Provide real-time photo/video updates via our mobile app
- Maintain accurate service logs and incident reports
- Administer basic care (water, waste cleanup, leash handling)
- Adapt walking routines to individual dog needs (energy levels, size, temperament)
- Build trust through consistent, positive interactions
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about service quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience OR verified pet ownership history
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Strong physical fitness and ability to handle large/reactive dogs
- Basic pet first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based scheduling and updates
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Nebraska residency required
