Responsibilities
- Safely escort dogs on individual or group walks in Newark's residential and commercial areas
- Administer basic care (feeding, hydration, medication) per client instructions
- Maintain detailed activity logs and communicate with pet owners via our mobile app
- Implement emergency protocols for health or behavioral incidents
- Represent Pawsome Pals with professionalism and exceptional customer service
- Participate in monthly training sessions to refine skills
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid NJ driver's license (if transporting pets)
- Passionate about animal welfare with no history of animal abuse
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and walk 3-5 miles daily
- Reliable transportation to Newark assignments
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- No prior experience required – training provided!
