Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in neighborhoods and parks while maintaining control
- Monitor pet behavior and report health concerns to owners
- Administer basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup)
- Adapt walks to individual dog needs (size, energy, temperament)
- Use GPS tracking apps for real-time location updates
- Provide photo/video updates to pet owners via mobile app
- Attend monthly training sessions for best practices
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with valid Texas ID
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Smartphone with data for communication apps
- Basic pet first aid/CPR certification (provided)
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Positive attitude and love for animals
