Responsibilities
- Master premium coffee preparation techniques including espresso extraction, latte art, and pour-over methods
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized beverage recommendations
- Maintain pristine café standards including equipment calibration and hygiene protocols
- Lead inventory management and ensure quality control of premium coffee beans
- Train new baristas on advanced brewing techniques and customer engagement
- Collaborate with culinary team to develop seasonal specialty beverages
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience with specialty coffee expertise
- Championship-level latte art skills and espresso mastery
- Extensive knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles
- Proven ability to thrive in high-volume, premium service environments
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build client relationships
- Food Handler and ServSafe certifications preferred
- Experience with high-end espresso machines (e.g., La Marzocco, Synesso)
