Responsibilities
- Stocking & Shelving: Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise on shelves and racks to ensure displays are fully stocked and organized.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
- Merchandising: Rotate stock to ensure older products are sold first (FIFO) and maintain a clean, attractive sales floor.
- Organization: Ensure all products are properly labeled, priced, and accessible to customers.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Store Maintenance: Assist in keeping the sales floor and backroom areas clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of presentation.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with supervisors and team members.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or warehousing is a plus but not required.
