Responsibilities
- Unload and unpack incoming merchandise shipments from trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Stock shelves and displays according to company standards and planograms.
- Rotate stock to ensure the oldest products are sold first (FIFO) and maintain freshness.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Assist in monthly inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding product locations and availability.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while operating equipment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM).
- Basic math skills for scanning items and handling inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Jersey City location.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
