Responsibilities
- Merchandise Handling: Receive, unload, and stock incoming shipments onto shelves in a timely and organized manner.
- Inventory Management: Utilize handheld scanners to accurately track stock levels and update inventory records.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure all products are displayed attractively and adhere to company visual standards.
- Store Maintenance: Keep stockrooms, aisles, and receiving areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming goods for damage and remove any expired or unsellable items from the floor.
- Cross-Training: Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support team efficiency during peak hours.
- Customer Support: Provide basic assistance to customers regarding product locations and availability.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM).
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and inventory counts.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check.
