Responsibilities
- Unload & Verify: Safely unload merchandise from delivery trucks and verify shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Stocking: Restock shelves and organize inventory in a neat, orderly, and accessible manner.
- Inventory Management: Rotate stock using the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the stockroom and sales floor clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the night crew and morning shift leads to ensure a smooth handover of duties.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and pricing products.
- Reliability: Punctual with a consistent work history.
- Basic Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counts and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required for this role.
