Responsibilities
- Merchandise Handling: Receive, unload, and unpack deliveries from vendors, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Shelf Stocking: Restock shelves, display cases, and storage areas with precision and efficiency to maintain optimal product visibility.
- Organization: Rotate stock based on expiration dates and organize products to maximize sales floor appeal and customer accessibility.
- Store Maintenance: Keep stockrooms, aisles, and back areas clean, organized, and safe to comply with company safety standards.
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory counts, price changes, and seasonal setups as required.
- Customer Interaction: Occasionally assist customers in locating specific items or providing general store information.
Qualifications
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in stocking, warehousing, or retail is preferred but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory tracking; strong attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
