Responsibilities
- Inventory Receiving: Efficiently unload and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against delivery tickets to minimize shrinkage.
- Merchandising Execution: Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with precision, following visual merchandising standards to maximize product visibility.
- Stock Rotation: Implement strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures to ensure product freshness and quality.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom and sales floor, including deep cleaning and waste removal.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts as required.
- Quality Control: Inspect merchandise for damages or defects and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Adherence to Safety: Strictly follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM) with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail stocking, warehousing, or logistics is preferred but not required (we provide paid training).
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance; a clean driving record is a plus.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tools: Willingness to learn to operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners).
