Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 2-4 dogs simultaneously in designated neighborhoods
- Provide timely photo/video updates to pet owners during walks
- Maintain detailed activity logs and health observations
- Administer basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup) per client instructions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build rapport with pets and maintain consistent schedules
- Communicate effectively with pet owners via our mobile app
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability for weekday mornings/afternoons (6AM-6PM)
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based communication
- Must pass background check and pet handling assessment
