Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (up to 4) in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide attentive care including feeding, administering medication, and monitoring pet health
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, behavior observations, and client communications
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all interactions and transportation
- Build rapport with clients through consistent updates and exceptional service
- Manage scheduling and route optimization for efficient daily operations
- Participate in ongoing training for pet behavior and emergency response
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 1 year professional pet care experience or equivalent animal handling
- Physical ability to walk 4+ hours daily in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and punctuality with digital scheduling tools
- Basic pet first aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and incident reporting
- Trustworthiness and ability to pass comprehensive background check
